# NBL vs LNB TV

The clearest difference is ads: LNB TV at none against NBL's shown. LNB TV also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). NBL's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (31% vs 17%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LNB TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NBL has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of NBL's written reviews are positive against 17% of LNB TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NBL ships an update fortnightly, LNB TV every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
