# OFFTO vs CarUp

The clearest difference is rating: OFFTO at 4.6 against CarUp's 4.2. OFFTO also leads on ratings volume (310 vs 6). CarUp's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 73%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OFFTO holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OFFTO has 310 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of OFFTO's written reviews are positive against 100% of CarUp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OFFTO ships an update monthly, CarUp every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
