# Thermo vs С

The clearest difference is rating: Thermo at 3.6 against С's 3.0. Thermo also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (98 vs 2). С's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thermo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. С asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thermo holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermo has 98 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Thermo's written reviews are positive against 33% of С's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Thermo ships an update monthly, С every 12 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
