# Desqueeze vs Scale To Fill

The clearest difference is ads: Desqueeze at none against Scale To Fill's shown. Desqueeze also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (775 vs 110). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Desqueeze sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Scale To Fill sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scale To Fill holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Desqueeze has 775 ratings behind it against 110, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Desqueeze's written reviews are positive against 64% of Scale To Fill's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Desqueeze ships an update every 3 weeks, Scale To Fill every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
