# My Selftape App vs Dualsy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Selftape App at 74% against Dualsy's 7%. My Selftape App also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Dualsy's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Selftape App sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Dualsy sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dualsy holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dualsy has 311 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of My Selftape App's written reviews are positive against 7% of Dualsy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Selftape App ships an update every 3 months, Dualsy every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
