# Beesy mobile vs OmniFocus 4

The clearest difference is monetization model: Beesy mobile at free against OmniFocus 4's free with in-app purchases. Beesy mobile also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and review sentiment (75% vs 52%). OmniFocus 4's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (346 vs 30). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beesy mobile sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and OmniFocus 4 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beesy mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OmniFocus 4 has 346 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Beesy mobile's written reviews are positive against 52% of OmniFocus 4's.

Beesy mobile ships an update every 2 months, OmniFocus 4 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
