# Archons vs Alkiraza

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Archons at none against Alkiraza's 10. Archons also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 18 months). Alkiraza's advantage is ratings volume (58 vs 8) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alkiraza sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year. Archons asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Archons against 4.9 for Alkiraza. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alkiraza has 58 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Archons ships an update every 6 weeks, Alkiraza every 18 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
