# Archons vs Bread Mastery

The clearest difference is rating: Archons at 5.0 against Bread Mastery's 1.0. Archons also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). Bread Mastery's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Archons holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Archons has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Archons ships an update every 6 weeks, Bread Mastery weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
