# Empik vs Picodi

The clearest difference is rating: Empik at 4.9 against Picodi's 3.6. Empik also leads on review sentiment (56% vs 25%) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 7). Picodi's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Empik holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Empik has 1.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
