# PIP Camera vs ArchivePIX

The clearest difference is rating: PIP Camera at 3.0 against ArchivePIX's 1.0. ArchivePIX's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 8 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PIP Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ArchivePIX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PIP Camera holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

PIP Camera ships an update every 8 months, ArchivePIX every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
