# FlyCheaper vs Budget Flights

The clearest difference is rating: Budget Flights at 4.2 against FlyCheaper's 1.0. Budget Flights also leads on ratings volume (51 vs 1). FlyCheaper's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 23 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Budget Flights holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Budget Flights has 51 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of FlyCheaper's written reviews are positive against 67% of Budget Flights's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlyCheaper ships an update every 2 months, Budget Flights every 23 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
