# FPV vs USB

The clearest difference is rating: USB at 2.0 against FPV's 1.0. USB also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 1). FPV's advantage is iOS requirement (6.1 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USB holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FPV ships an update every 15 months, USB every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
