# FPV vs USB Camera pro

The clearest difference is rating: USB Camera pro at 3.2 against FPV's 1.0. USB Camera pro also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). FPV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USB Camera pro holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB Camera pro has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FPV ships an update every 15 months, USB Camera pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
