# iCountTimer vs VoiceHiit

The clearest difference is update cadence: VoiceHiit at every 6 weeks against iCountTimer's every 4 months. VoiceHiit also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). iCountTimer's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 75%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCountTimer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and VoiceHiit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iCountTimer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iCountTimer has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of iCountTimer's written reviews are positive against 75% of VoiceHiit's.

iCountTimer ships an update every 4 months, VoiceHiit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
