# iCountTimer vs Voice Counting

iCountTimer and Voice Counting both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of iCountTimer's written reviews are positive against 71% of Voice Counting's. Voice Counting's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (39 vs 12). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCountTimer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Voice Counting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for iCountTimer against 4.7 for Voice Counting. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 39 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of iCountTimer's written reviews are positive against 71% of Voice Counting's.
