# UC Browser vs Aloha Browser

The clearest difference is ads: Aloha Browser at none against UC Browser's shown. Aloha Browser also leads on ratings volume (314K vs 4.9K) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). UC Browser's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 49%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UC Browser sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Aloha Browser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aloha Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha Browser has 314K ratings behind it against 4.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of UC Browser's written reviews are positive against 49% of Aloha Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
