# UC Browser vs Tevi

The clearest difference is ads: Tevi at none against UC Browser's shown. UC Browser's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 44%) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 304). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UC Browser sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Tevi sells 24 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for UC Browser against 4.4 for Tevi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UC Browser has 4.9K ratings behind it against 304, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of UC Browser's written reviews are positive against 44% of Tevi's.

UC Browser ships an update fortnightly, Tevi weekly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
