# UC Browser vs Jotted

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UC Browser at 72% against Jotted's 0%. UC Browser also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.9) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 17). Jotted's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UC Browser sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Jotted sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UC Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.9. UC Browser ships an update fortnightly, Jotted every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
