# iBrary Link vs iBackup Kit

The clearest difference is rating: iBrary Link at 1.9 against iBackup Kit's 1.3. iBrary Link also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (865 vs 9). iBackup Kit's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 16%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iBrary Link holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iBrary Link has 865 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of iBrary Link's written reviews are positive against 34% of iBackup Kit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iBrary Link ships an update every 4 months, iBackup Kit every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and June 10, 2026 respectively.
