# iBrary Link vs TRNDlabs FADER

The clearest difference is rating: TRNDlabs FADER at 3.2 against iBrary Link's 1.9. TRNDlabs FADER also leads on iOS requirement (8.1 vs 12.1). iBrary Link's advantage is ratings volume (865 vs 19). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TRNDlabs FADER holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iBrary Link has 865 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of iBrary Link's written reviews are positive against 14% of TRNDlabs FADER's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
