# The Simple Camera vs Quick Shot Camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Quick Shot Camera at 100% against The Simple Camera's 55%. Quick Shot Camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). The Simple Camera's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Simple Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Quick Shot Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Simple Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Simple Camera has 206 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of The Simple Camera's written reviews are positive against 100% of Quick Shot Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Simple Camera ships an update weekly, Quick Shot Camera monthly. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
