# Wi vs SIMO

The clearest difference is rating: SIMO at 4.8 against Wi's 3.8. SIMO also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 163). Wi's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SIMO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SIMO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIMO has 3.4K ratings behind it against 163, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 56% and 57% positive.

Wi ships an update every 2 weeks, SIMO every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
