# Video Editor ‧ vs VividuCut

The clearest difference is rating: VividuCut at 5.0 against Video Editor ‧'s 4.4. VividuCut also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Video Editor ‧'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (33K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Editor ‧ sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and VividuCut sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VividuCut holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Editor ‧ has 33K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Video Editor ‧ ships an update every 3 weeks, VividuCut every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
