# Nanoleaf vs PlatSeekers

The clearest difference is rating: Nanoleaf at 4.2 against PlatSeekers's 2.4. Nanoleaf also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (45K vs 25). PlatSeekers's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlatSeekers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Nanoleaf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nanoleaf holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nanoleaf has 45K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Nanoleaf's written reviews are positive against 30% of PlatSeekers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nanoleaf ships an update every 2 weeks, PlatSeekers weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
