# Wahoo ELEMNT Companion vs FluidLogic®

The clearest difference is monetization model: FluidLogic® at free against Wahoo ELEMNT Companion's free with in-app purchases. Wahoo ELEMNT Companion's advantage is ratings volume (37K vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FluidLogic® holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wahoo ELEMNT Companion has 37K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
