# Vivara vs Youcom

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Youcom at 8.4K against Vivara's 100. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Vivara against 4.8 for Youcom. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Youcom has 8.4K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Vivara's written reviews are positive against 56% of Youcom's.

Vivara ships an update every 11 days, Youcom every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
