# DosBros vs Pete's Restaurant

The clearest difference is ads: Pete's Restaurant at none against DosBros's shown. Pete's Restaurant also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). DosBros's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for DosBros against 4.9 for Pete's Restaurant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DosBros has 1.3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DosBros ships an update every 6 months, Pete's Restaurant fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
