# The Tetrix 10 vs Pentix Nova

The clearest difference is rating: Pentix Nova at 4.5 against The Tetrix 10's 4.0. Pentix Nova also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 2). The Tetrix 10's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 47%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Tetrix 10 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pentix Nova sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pentix Nova holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pentix Nova has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of The Tetrix 10's written reviews are positive against 47% of Pentix Nova's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Tetrix 10 ships an update every 9 months, Pentix Nova weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
