# Videorama Text & Video Editor vs Splode Lab Ex

The clearest difference is monetization model: Splode Lab Ex at free with in-app purchases against Videorama Text & Video Editor's subscription. Splode Lab Ex also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 79%). Videorama Text & Video Editor's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 447) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Videorama Text & Video Editor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Splode Lab Ex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
