# UAV Forecast vs Pilot Life

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pilot Life at 84% against UAV Forecast's 33%. UAV Forecast's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 21). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UAV Forecast sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Pilot Life sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UAV Forecast holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UAV Forecast has 3.5K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of UAV Forecast's written reviews are positive against 84% of Pilot Life's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UAV Forecast ships an update every 5 days, Pilot Life fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
