# UAV Forecast vs FlyWindow

The clearest difference is update cadence: UAV Forecast at every 5 days against FlyWindow's fortnightly. UAV Forecast also leads on chart position (#28 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UAV Forecast sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and FlyWindow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UAV Forecast ships an update every 5 days, FlyWindow fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
