# Grav Box vs Reef Run

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reef Run at every 5 days against Grav Box's every 5 months. Grav Box's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grav Box sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Reef Run sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reef Run holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grav Box has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Grav Box ships an update every 5 months, Reef Run every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
