# Flux Bluetooth vs LED Light Controller Universal

The clearest difference is rating: LED Light Controller Universal at 4.6 against Flux Bluetooth's 2.7. LED Light Controller Universal also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (10K vs 75). Flux Bluetooth's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (31% vs 20%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LED Light Controller Universal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Flux Bluetooth asks for nothing beyond the download.

LED Light Controller Universal holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED Light Controller Universal has 10K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Flux Bluetooth's written reviews are positive against 20% of LED Light Controller Universal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flux Bluetooth ships an update every 5 months, LED Light Controller Universal every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
