# BWB Rewards vs Sal's

The clearest difference is ads: Sal's at none against BWB Rewards's shown. Sal's also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). BWB Rewards's advantage is ratings volume (6.8K vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for BWB Rewards against 4.9 for Sal's. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BWB Rewards has 6.8K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BWB Rewards ships an update every 2 months, Sal's every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
