# MTS Link vs Online Chat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MTS Link at 66% against Online Chat's 20%. MTS Link also leads on ratings volume (868 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). Online Chat's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Online Chat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTS Link has 868 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of MTS Link's written reviews are positive against 20% of Online Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MTS Link ships an update weekly, Online Chat every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
