# Cougar Dating App vs RIDN

The clearest difference is monetization model: RIDN at free with in-app purchases against Cougar Dating App's subscription. RIDN also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Cougar Dating App's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 46%) and chart position (#141 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cougar Dating App sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and RIDN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cougar Dating App ships an update monthly, RIDN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
