# Vertigus vs Slam Mania

The clearest difference is rating: Slam Mania at 4.6 against Vertigus's 4.0. Slam Mania also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vertigus sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Slam Mania sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slam Mania holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slam Mania has 236 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Vertigus's written reviews are positive against 80% of Slam Mania's.

Vertigus ships an update every 2 months, Slam Mania every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
