# StepCard vs SunCues

The clearest difference is update cadence: SunCues at every 2 days against StepCard's every 3 months. SunCues also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepCard sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and SunCues sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepCard ships an update every 3 months, SunCues every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
