# StepCard vs Stride

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stride at every 5 days against StepCard's every 3 months. Stride also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepCard sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Stride sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepCard ships an update every 3 months, Stride every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
