# Complicate It vs Watch Faces Gallery

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Complicate It at 72% against Watch Faces Gallery's 24%. Complicate It also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 17.6). Watch Faces Gallery's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Complicate It sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Watch Faces Gallery sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Faces Gallery holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 410 and 580 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Complicate It's written reviews are positive against 24% of Watch Faces Gallery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Complicate It ships an update monthly, Watch Faces Gallery every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
