# MiniPrint vs Mint Printer

The clearest difference is rating: Mint Printer at 4.6 against MiniPrint's 1.0. Mint Printer also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 1). MiniPrint's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mint Printer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mint Printer has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of MiniPrint's written reviews are positive against 25% of Mint Printer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
