# Adobe Express vs Poster Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Adobe Express at 4.8 against Poster Maker's 4.6. Adobe Express also leads on ratings volume (370K vs 20K) and chart position (#14 vs unranked). Poster Maker's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (66% vs 58%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adobe Express sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Poster Maker sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Adobe Express holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adobe Express has 370K ratings behind it against 20K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Adobe Express's written reviews are positive against 66% of Poster Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Adobe Express ships an update every 3 weeks, Poster Maker every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
