# iMediaOut vs U8

The clearest difference is ads: iMediaOut at none against U8's shown. iMediaOut also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (272 vs 10). U8's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iMediaOut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and U8 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
