# Animatic vs Image Converter

The clearest difference is rating: Animatic at 4.6 against Image Converter's 1.0. Animatic also leads on ratings volume (837 vs 1). Image Converter's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animatic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Image Converter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Animatic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Animatic has 837 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Animatic ships an update every 4 months, Image Converter every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
