# SchoolOrganizer vs School Assistant

The clearest difference is update cadence: SchoolOrganizer at every 8 days against School Assistant's every 2 months. School Assistant's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 68) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SchoolOrganizer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and School Assistant sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SchoolOrganizer against 4.8 for School Assistant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: School Assistant has 4.8K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of SchoolOrganizer's written reviews are positive against 88% of School Assistant's.

SchoolOrganizer ships an update every 8 days, School Assistant every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
