# Lock Notes Pro vs HibiDo Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lock Notes Pro at 82% against HibiDo Pro's 33%. Lock Notes Pro also leads on ratings volume (269 vs 15) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). HibiDo Pro's advantage is price ($2.99 vs $9.99) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Lock Notes Pro costs $9.99 and HibiDo Pro $2.99 up front. Lock Notes Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and HibiDo Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HibiDo Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Notes Pro has 269 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Lock Notes Pro's written reviews are positive against 33% of HibiDo Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lock Notes Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, HibiDo Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
