# UC vs IL Connect

The clearest difference is rating: IL Connect at 5.0 against UC's 2.4. UC's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IL Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UC has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UC ships an update every 2 months, IL Connect every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
