# Intapp Legacy vs IPT Events

The clearest difference is rating: IPT Events at 5.0 against Intapp Legacy's 4.7. IPT Events also leads on iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). Intapp Legacy's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IPT Events holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intapp Legacy has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Intapp Legacy ships an update every 3 months, IPT Events every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
