# Mostnote vs Pith

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pith at every 3 days against Mostnote's every 4 months. Mostnote's advantage is iOS requirement (9.3 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mostnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pith sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
