# Paintwork vs PosePause

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PosePause at none against Paintwork's 1. Paintwork's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paintwork sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PosePause asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paintwork ships an update weekly, PosePause every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
